Bed was very comfortable but bathroom was tiny. Very clean. Friendly and helpful housekeeping lady.

Staff was very friendly. The rooms were very clean, the shower had great water pressure, the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.

Good location, friendly staff and good food
The weather was very hot for our stay and room was very uncomfortable, even with a small fan and the sash window would open a small amount due to locks.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast excellent. Great location and value for money.

The good was excellent. The staff were very pleasant
The number of stairs to get to room. Nowhere on website did it say not suitable because of mobility issues

Everything was fantastic we enjoyed our stay. We would have preferred quieter room.
Room was clean but there wasn’t nice view and night time was too noisy where restaurant used bins to discard the rubbish banging bins.

Location, pub ambiance was nice. Breakfast in the morning was good.
Hallway is kinda nasty with stained carpet flooring. Hallway also smells

Very central in Rye
Needs a lot of TLC. The main staircase carpet definitely needs replacing as ragged and very stained in places. All the doors and paintwork could do with a freshen up. Air con was a waste of time-needs updating

Location is good to explore Rye but quite nosy at the weekend
The breakfast was not the best, didn’t get offered or served tea/coffee despite asking.

right in the centre of town. Really friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast. Extremely good value.

The room and bed was exceptionally comfortable. We had a low beam which was fun as we are over 5ft7inch. But really comfortable. Superb location and the staff really make the ship stand out. So friendly took bags from us to the room and nothing too much trouble. The breakfast was all waiter service which was great and coffee made no press a button and it comes out mixed. Highly recommend will be back .
