Lovely attic with unique atmosphere.

Very near to train station, surroundings restaurants and shops, supermarket. 7/11 store. You can get what you need. There is heat bar in the room. Very comfortable.
There is some weird smell in the room if you turn on the heat bar. But acceptable.

I have stayed in many hotels and what struck me the most was the caring attitude of the staff. From breakfast with scrambled eggs ( which tasted better than I can make ) to their always asking where you are going and offering directions/ trains buses to get their.
The help never stopped and you only had to ask and they would go out of their way to help. My wife took ill with a nasty flu, and they made sure we had medication and if we wanted a doctor any time of day , they would sort.
The hotel is a stones throw from either end of the town, turn left and 200 yards to Interlaken west train and bus station, turn right and 500 yards to fields where paragliders land and shops and restaurants. Walk a little further and you get to Interlaken ost.
Free travel tickets on the bus, and a common room allowing you to make tea and coffee ( feed the piggy ) or packed lunches for the day, or even sit and eat food you have brought.
Very sad we had to leave the very lovely Swiss people and the hotel

Comfortable and quiet property a little off the tourist path, which we like. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. We loved how close it was to a grocery store where we could buy lunch and dinner and picnic on the sun deck. This hotel has a wonderful sundeck with tables and chairs. It also has a common room with a fridge to store picnic meals. The breakfast was good and the rooms have air conditioning, which is a rare thing in Europe! Loved it!

We have been traveling in Europe for a month. This hotel was our favorite! Great, quiet location. Staff was extremely helpful. Lovely views from balcony. Nice continental breakfast in a lovely and spacious dining area. They even offered scrambled eggs! Beds and pillows were comfortable. A very positive experience.

Clean rooms, helpful staff, location is very convenient walking distance to station. Brekfast was avarage but easy in the morning when u have a big day.
The rooms are a bit old and can upgrade, and the hallway smelt bad. Concider changing the air freahner with a nice smooth smell.

I liked the proximity to Interlaken West station
a) Hated the hotel manager, while the other staff was nice
b) The manager charged us extra in form of city charges of 40 CHF and later said it's for an additional person while my booking was confirmed to be for 2 people in the very first place and noone informed me about it throughout my stay. So yes he did not refund back our money
c) The rooms were so small that either you can fit in or your luggage
d) We left 2 pieces of cloth at the hotel, and later the manager refused to check for us

Staff were very polite and helpful. Provided us tips on how to get around and even optimal viewing spot for new year fireworks. Breakfast is good with cereals/bread/hams/scrambled eggs.
No air con, quite stuffy once the windows are closed. Room is very dim. Toilet is also very small.

Location is perfect for people to go to many tourist locations like Grinderwal, jungfraud and etc.
The common room is so functional. All guests can find all things you want.
This hotel price is so reasonable for all single penny i have paid.

We booked 3 rooms, 2 of which were in the attic and it was lovely - it had a tiny cottage room feel to it. All 3 rooms that were given to us have clear views of Harder Klum so it was amazing.
The rooms are clean. Note that there's a rule to consume food and drinks in the common area downstairs which means there's no kettle in each room (you'd have to use the equipment in the first floor common room).
As I tend to enjoy meeting other tourists, the common area was great for me. Though nothing to worry about if you're more introverted - the common area in this hotel is a great way to sit down and have a proper meal with your friends or partner.
I was expecting the hotel to be directly beside Interlaken West station but the hotel is located slightly further in. Not a big deal cause that just means it's quieter at night for a good sleep!

The breakfast was wonderful. The host took special care of all the guests catering to each of their needs. On the day of my arrival helped me with planning a full round trip and also provided bus pass. Extremely helpful and caring. Would definitely visit again just for the hospitality.
