Excellent Stay Near Interlaken West ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a great stay at Hotel Merkur. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Interlaken West Station. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. A great hotel for exploring Interlaken!

i loved the stay. veey convenient location. lovely views from the breakfast dining area. my mum and i enjoyed breakfast at the rooftop every morning. the staff are very pleasant and welcoming. no aircon, but a ceiling fan and a desk fan was provided. luckily the temperature was not too high. i almost booked another hotel but due to last monute booking only merkur was available, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. the hotel has been well renovated.
i would say i prefer having air conditioning, but from my travel experience in europe, air conditioning is a very foreign concept lol. there was only heater installed. fans are provided, but if the temperature is high, it might be uncomfortable for guests.

Clean, comfortable, close to Interlaken West station, helpful & friendly staff. Beautiful views on the 5th floor for a good breakfast.

Its location is perfect which scores the highest to book this hotel. It is clean and well kept. Staff was pleasant n helpful.
Noise of the people on road even after 10 pm in the night is disturbing .
The bath cabinet in bathroom is toooo small as you tend to bang your hands on the adjacent glass while having bath. The breakfast menu is toooo limited as vegetarians don’t have any choice…. Even the eggs are not boiled freshly. The pre boiled eggs were kept for the breakfast. The overall breakfast was v average n disappointing.
