We liked the smoothness of the check in and check out - no hassle, just clear, simple instructions which were easy to follow. The room had everything from a fridge (bonus in the hot weather we had), water, tea, coffee etc. it felt like every situation had been thought of. Even wine glasses in the lounge area which you could borrow! Breakfast was lovely - accommodated gluten free with no issue. 🙂 also choice of cereal, juices and toast.

We couldn’t complain about anything as we found our stay to be perfect and we had a very enjoyable experience at Holly Lodge. We will be visiting again!

Perfect location, wonderful service and bedroom. Very comfy bed and immaculate inside. Lovely breakfast and friendly helpful host.

The room was lovely and spacious, beautifully decorated, clean and well maintained. The bed was so comfortable, soft and lovely duvet and pillows. Very handy shower cap and soaps available in the bathroom. Check in, breakfast order, check out all so easy and smooth. Breakfast was delicious with a perfect amount and refills of coffee, tea and juices.

Fridge wasn't on in the cupboard in the room but would have been nice to store extra milk there for brew facilities. But it wasn't a big deal at all.

The whole experience was wonderful - easy check in/check out. Room spotlessly clean , warm & ver inviting. Breakfast in the morning was good quality & plentiful .

there was nobody to see it was all self check in and lots of emails , breakfast was a disappointment and very short on space

The location was fantastic with very easy access to Ambleside and Windermere with local ammenities close by and all the walks we planned were very close by. The room itself was spacious and the beds were fantastic, we stayed 2 nights and had a great nights sleep on both occassions.

The owners were very welcoming of bringing food/drink back to the lodge but when we bought a late lunch back we struggled to find any cutlery to eat it with but other then that we had a fantastic stay.

Absolutely EXCELLENT b&b. The location great 2 minute walk to Winderemere centre. The breakfast was EXCELLENT. Last but not least the staff were SUPERB, very friendly and helpful. We are already looking forward to a return visit. 🤗👍

Can't fault EXCELLENCE !

Breakfast was lovely with lovely staff in a very artistic, cause breakfast room. The hotel is all quirky with lots of big mirrors, Buddhas and lovely decorations. We liked the location of the hotel as it was away from the Main Street, yet around the corner of many bars and restaurants. We also loved the fact that there was a trust with the owners as we basically just came in with a given code, took out key and then made our way to the bedroom. It asked us to give us a choice of breakfast in advance and when we entered the bedroom, it looked stunning with Patels and a decorative towel on our bed. Loved the room and the bed was super comfy to sleep in ! Overall we would do back there without a doubt. We didn’t use the facilities as we walked all day and just wanted to go out for a meal and drink.

The room was very small and hot,however still worth its money. We just opened the window. There was only a little window which looked out onto some houses. Yet again, nothing that really bothered us☺️
