Well equipped, fabulous views
Lack of privacy in garden, thin walls (noise from next door) tiny old towels, dog poo in garden

Cowlings was the ideal place for a family break in beautiful Swaledale. The property was spacious, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean when we arrived. Communication with the hosts was easy and they responded very quickly when we ran out of matches. The weather threw us a bit of everything during our stay but Cowlings was cozy and warm, with a wood stove and blankets for wrapping up. We cooked meals, went for walks and spent time on the front terrace - gorgeous views during the day and excellent stargazing at night. We had a brilliant time and can't recommend Cowlings highly enough.
Can't think of anything that could make the house better.
