We received a very warm welcome on arrival and had a welcome drink by the fireside, looking out onto the Loch, which was stunning.
Breakfast was superb, cooked to order and plentiful with a good choice too. The views from the breakfast room were also second to none.
Staff were very friendly, polite and accommodating.
Rooms were spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed.
Nice touch of having a slate full of Scottish tablet in reception.
On the two nights we stayed there we got back to the hotel and there was no staff around. The guidebook in the room said that there would be staff up until 10pm. I know on our last night we got back to the hotel at 9pm and thought we'd have a drink, but we couldn't find anyone. The bell on the reception desk had been removed so we had no way of getting their attention.

Hotel, room, staff and breakfast all excellent
No restaurant on site which we were aware of so we used the restaurant in their sister hotel 5 minute walk away. Meal was lovely but restaurant doubled up as a cafe in the day so the ambiance wasn’t as expected.

Lovely hotel, cosy and welcoming. Room was large with a loch view. Bed was very comfy. Good location on Loch Ness
Nothing.
