Everything was perfect

Выдачу номера пришлось ждать более 4 часов! Ленивый персонал, особенно на завтраке пришлось вызывать менеджера, чтобы заставить их выдать другой стол или почиситить от жвачки тот который выдали сразу. В кафе рядом с ресепшеном более 15 минут никто не подошел и не принял заказ. Посадка при этом была 0 людей. Очень долгий валет паркинг. Очень долго перемещаеться по отелю для того чтобы добраться с ресепшена до номера, из номера до завтрака.

The property is grand, beautiful and one of the nicest buildings I have seen in a while. The staff was exceptional, the service was fast, the food was amazing.

The only “downside” I would mention is - my room was a connecting room with another room and I could hear them talk, get room service and watch movies like we shared a room. That wasn’t ideal and next time I would make sure to note “no connecting rooms” when booking.

Luxurius

The lack of attention of the staff and a problem occurred that they closed the door an hour before the check-out time, and I was waiting outside the room for an hour and a half despite calling six times at the reception, but they did not respond, which caused me and my son who has autism to worry and I wanted to go to Dubai airport because my solution is at 4. Really not interested just an apology.

It’s been a long outstanding wish to stay in this iconic hotel, so I decided to celebrate my b-day there this year. The quality of this massive asset was definitely impressive. The hotel was well-maintained and “sparkly” clean, but service on the other side was rather disappointing. While I understand it is the summer season, and some of the hotel facilities could be under renovation, it would be good to have that listed on the hotel’s website or at least in the pre-arrival letter. Upon arrival, it was disappointing to find out that only one pool was open. We arrived on Saturday afternoon, and the pool area was occupied mainly by the day pass visitors. In order to get assisted with the sunbeds, we’ve been literally told by the pool attendant: “If you want service, wait for a minute” That could have been communicated more nicely (remember that we are in the iconic 5* hotel under Mandarin Oriental). Staff in the spa area by the pool wasn’t the friendliest. On Sunday, we had a chance to enjoy the pool, “lazy river” and water rides are a great add-on to the experience. The team by the pool was more attentive vs Saturday. The room facilities were quite good, and the bed was super comfy. Also, we appreciated the b-day amenities and hand-written card, which was a nice touch. We had b-day dinner in the Hakkasan. The food and service were impeccable. Highly recommended. Also, you need to try their raspberry croissant in the lounge, so delightful! The check-in experience was smoothly handled by Anna, but during the check-out, there was a lack of staff. Having only two receptionists present didn’t help to speed up the process.

Room was great. Pool was cool considering the HOT outside temperature.

Limited early breakfast choices. The Episodes did not open until 9am and needed to get our for another event by 8am. This limited my choice to a buffet which was too much

Long walk to the room.

The swimming pool area is fantastic, The staff are incredibly friendly and are a real credit to the hotel,

We ordered a burger at the pool which was quite dry and cost well over 100 dirhams. Also the adult pool with a swim up bar was full of children splashing us as we had a drink
