It was nice to have breakfast included. Our last breakfast was the best - we were offered eggs and the person serving was very attentive and friendly. The espresso served that day was also much better.
Breakfast was good but was served a little late for us - starting at 8.30am. We had to miss one day because we wanted to visit Florence. Coffee at breakfast tasted like instant coffee but was better when we asked for espresso.

The location is excellent - right in the center of the old walled city. I would rate the cappuccino A+++ - it was not all milk! Overall the breakfast was very good and the staff is exceptional. I am sometimes nervous about staying at a bed and breakfast but at La Boheme the staff is present most of the day and easily accessible other times.
The only challenge was learning to work all 3 keys to access my room but I did master it in one try.
