Skuggi Hotel by Keahotels

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location was not in the middle of town, but definitely walkable and was good because you didn't hear any commotion from bars or traffic. Very convenient to everything. Price was very reasonable and breakfast was included which was great. Everything from fruit, yogurt, breads, cheeses and meats, salad, coffee, tea, etc. Parking was free in safe garage (limited spots so time it correctly - after groups left to explore or leave or prior to exact check in) They stored our luggage after last day since we had time prior to afternoon flight. Very convenient. Rooms were small but comfortable - seems to be warm at night, but that was everywhere due to the construction of buildings to accommodate for the winter months. Would definitely recommend.

Nothing. Everything was great. Just a little warm in rooms but I've heard that about all the hotels.

It was clean, comfortable and had all the usual 3* facilities: kettle, tea and coffee (decent coffee as well!), good shower, shelves to put clothes on. Staff were helpful, there were maps in the lobby (a rarity these days!), the blinds and curtains were great at blocking out the light. Breakfast was really good: fabulous selection, plenty on offer. We asked for a double room but one wasn't available, but we just pushed the beds together in classic European double style. Having spent some time in Reykjavik, we felt it was generally good value. We would stay here again.

Would have been nice to have a bit more space to put things, another bedside table as well. It didn't affect us, but the coffee on offer at breakfast was dire: they have Costa Coffee you can pay for instead. I just mixed it with the hot chocolate powder (which was good). We got our towels changed way more than we needed, even though we left them hung up.

Clean and functional, good location. Great breakfast. Walking distance to the church and shopping and a food hall.

The parking wasn’t guaranteed although we had no issues. One of our rooms was very comfortable temperature wise and the other was uncomfortably hot.

Location was great

Water pressure in the shower was terrible. Interior design very dark and some of the staff seemed to be sleepwalking. Breakfast was sufficient though.
