Rooms were great as was breakfast and restaurant

The room that we stayed in in the Courtyard was absolutely fantastic - we loved it. Great shower room and also a bath in the room which I didn't have time to use. Loved the extras such as nuts and crisps and the furniture was beautiful - rocking chairs downstairs. We wanted to stay longer.
The bar was a bit messy and wasn't conducive to relaxing - it was around 10.00 on a Friday night but tables hadn't been cleared. The breakfast wasn't quite as described - the rosti was actually just a hash brown but otherwise very nice.

We have stayed here before and is also dog friendly.
Didn’t like how the breakfast was done where you help your self to the cooked food which was only lukewarm warm and not very nice, when we stayed in June they had a waiter bring your cooked breakfast to your table which was lovely and hot.

We had booked a superior double room. We got a “duplex suite” which had a very inconvenient layout
