The Jangle Hotel - Paris - Charles de Gaulle - Airport

The hotel was able to accommodate my early check in after a long overnight flight which was really appreciated. The hotel itself is unique compared to more standard hotels. The room was clean and spacious enough for two people with luggage. The breakfast area was also quite large with a great variety of options to choose from. The room itself had a giant TV mounted on the wall which was a really nice addition, especially since there is not a lot to do in the area. We went for a walk during the sunset and there was a gorgeous view across the fields. The hotel staff were great and impressive with their multitasking. The airport shuttle is excellent and on time. The shuttle driver was very helpful and polite.

Aside from the food at the hotel restaurant, I did not see other food options within walking distance of the hotel and the options at the hotel were fairly basic and limited. Also, our flight was delayed so when we arrived in Paris, we were not able to catch the shuttle to the hotel because there was a gap in the shuttle service. The hotel appears a bit dated in some respects, such as the shower and hallways, even though the rooms and bathrooms themselves are more modern, however, they serve their practical purpose.

The shuttle from the airport was great and was there as soon as I got to the platform, which was easy enough to find. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the room was really comfortable and quiet. Had the best sleep! Would definitely stay there next time I need a hotel at CDG airport.

The only reason I didn't give it a 10 was because there was no milk in the room for my morning coffee. The breakfast was ok but I think it would've been better if I'd got there earlier. Other than that there were no problems at all.

Great location, exceptional view to the marina. The staff are great and they do a lovely coffee in the lobby.

Despite asking several times prior to my visit to Paris regarding the timing of the shuttle to the airport, I was limited to only what was available on the day when I checked in (at 2pm). This meant that any guest who was there before me, could book the shuttle that suited them best. I was limited to a very early shuttle or a very late shuttle. This meant that I could only eat my breakfast (which I had paid for in advance) for a maximum of 10 mins before having to get on the shuttle to the airport. Disappointing as my day was mainly spent at the airport without a relaxing breakfast.
