Hotel was wonderful . Loved the location and the cafe , restaurant beneath the accommodation was fabulous . Room whilst small was clean and very comfortable . Bathroom was great spacious and a very good shower ! This hotel is a little gem in beautiful Lugano

It would have been good to know in advance that there was an easier way to get yo hotel by taking the funicular

great location, the breakfast buffet offered excellent choices and was of high quality. Good size bathroom.

Bedroom is really far too small for two adults. no desk for working. no facility whatsoever, like coffee maker or even hot water boiler. opening of breakfast room at 07.30 is really too late for our taste and habits

It's a three-star hotel, but in fact it meets four-star-standard. You enter by the bistro/shop with a great ambiance. That's the heart of the hotel, there are only a few rooms on the upper floors. Excellent breakfast except Xmas-day when the the kitchen of the bistro was closed. So there were no omelets that day and no eggs. The Staff is very friendly in a informal way.

Lovely grounds and the layout of the rooms, and the hotel‘s location, which is convenient to downtown and to the park/ruins. Also, the hotel‘s staff was very warm and helpful.

The first room they gave me was really noisy; not just street noise but something internal as well. They moved me on my 3rd night and all good after that.

Located in central Locarno and close to main attractions and via funicular and station. Comfortable bed and all necessary amenities with no frills.

On second floor and noisy cafe and delicatessen on lower floors. Limited check in hours for travellers, although some flexibility.

The location was amazing. ....steps away from the funicular which you get on from the train station and right in center kf the city.

Finding the hotel was bit tricky.....you have to go through the restaurant and the reception is on the 2nd floor...or the european 1st fl. But thrre are no signs to indicate this. The room: it was a loft stle suite with 2 set of stairs .. one leading from the door to yet another door to get to the suite.....then another leading to the bedroom. It isnt ideal for anyobe with heavy luggage because service is not their forte and you are on your own for the .ost part. All the plug is inconveniently located so chrging my phone was easiest in the bathroom Contstant scent of the food in the building may not be ideal for all
