The friendly staff. The location, which is only about 3 minutes away from the train station. Nice view of the lake.

Everything! It was close to the train station for starters! It has been in business for 103 years and they know what they are doing! Wonderful & helpful staff! Excellent food! Large, nice room!

Locale, staff and breakfast is included. Access from the far elevator of the train platform closest to the overlook allows easy luggage transport downhill from the station (it is the pink building to the right of the bus stop down the hill). The neighborhood is pedestrian only with some local residents’ vehicles and deliveries by vehicle.
I really dislike having hot comforters as my only covering to sleep. Sheets in addition to the comforter would be a preferable in many hotels!

The staff is lovely. The outside terrace for meals is cozy and refreshing. The location is great: 10min from the lake, 4 min from stores and restaurants, 2 min from the train station (we never heard the train). It's a perfect place to sleep if you are planning to spend all day outdoors.
The double bed is a fake; it's two single beds next to each other. The bathroom is old school with a bathtub. The air conditioner made more noise than a snoring pig.
