I really liked the location of the hotel with a fancy Italian name Perkeo, a historical figure , and the keeper of the wine cellars. Due to my recover from the surgery, this historical hotel was convenient place to reach out to the city attractions, stores, and restaurants. Staff was very polite and welcoming, clean room and toilet across the room. The newly installed air conditioner, probably was the best feature of my journey in the hotel, cz we were with my sister at the hot season. It saved my life!
I would admit that the variety of food was limited, especially, meat varieties, vegetables, and bread. Usually, in German hotels, I observe lots of varies of meat and bread. I do not eat pork products. Well.. it was only pork meat varieties that day. Surprisingly, black coffee was fresh and strong( as I like) and boiled eggs was done properly. I complimented to the barista who prepared a cup of coffee to me.

This is a old building on the pedestrian main street in Heidelburg. It has been updated with modern amenities and the room and bathroom are OK size for 2 people for a brief stay. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with standard offerings. There is elevator access, which helps with bags. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Location is really good - only 10 minutes walk to the funicular up to the castle. Parking (paid) is in a public lot about 3 minutes walk away (with elevator access to street level).

Nice spacious room and bathroom (room nr. 6 on the first floor - good breakfast - quiet for a room in the centre of the old city

The hotel was right in the middle of things.
Nothing but read the instructions as when you arrive the road the hotel is on is closed to cars so you get dropped by a side road and just walk down the road. All very easy.
