Tyndall Villa Boutique B&B

We loved the Tyndall Bed & Breakfast. The room was small but very comfortable & the bathroom was a very good size. They have a delightful glass sunroom where we had breakfast every day. The breakfast was outstanding & carried us thru the day! We had to send costumes there for the Jane Austen Festival & they made sure to notify us when they arrived!

This is not a complaint-you need to walk up & down a hill for 15 minutes or catch the bus to go into center city Bath.

Beautiful property

Nothing

The property is beautiful and our room was spacious, as was the bathroom. The high ceilings everywhere really expand the "space". Appreciated the larger pedestal sink (with "counters" on both sides) and the shelving space in the bathroom - room to put your stuff! It was a bit of a walk into town, and it's on a hill, so if you're not in good shape, call a taxi or take the bus. We discovered a great walking path up the hill and behind the hotel which was pedestrian friendly, so used that all the time - we enjoyed the extra exercise! The breakfast room was lovely, as were the staff. Staff also suggested a pub up the hill for dinner (The Bear Inn) - I'm vegan and had one of the BEST dinners of our entire UK trip there - really delish!!

Property is on a very busy road and on a hill, so the traffic went basically all day and night. We were in a room facing the road (city view?) and it was disruptive to my sleep. I would stay here again but would pick a garden facing room for some quiet.

Lovely building, bed was super comfortable . It did state no bathroom door, But… a door would be nice.

No bathroom door, curtains were stained and paint work could do with a few bit’s tidying up. Breakfast room was also in need of improvement. The hot breakfast was not very warm.
