Amazing location. Poor cleaning services.

Incredible central location. Right in the middle of every major shopping centre and all the best restaurants in Melbournes CBD.

Lack of cleaning. It is stated on a note on display at reception that cleaning is done every 3 days, however I was not informed by staff when checking in. Even then, when my room was cleaned, 3 days after it wasn’t cleaned. I had to call reception to advise my room hasn’t been cleaned in 3 days.

Perfect location

Location was close to shops and tram lines. A very easy walk.

First room had an extremely noisy air conditioning fan and they moved us without hesitation.

Great location in the CBD! Good value for a private stay.

The best thing about mecure welcome Melbourne is definitely the location. It is central to everything and when u include breakfast it makes the stay effortless.

The entrance being diverted due to construction made access a little different but it was ok.

Perfect location for a great price

The location of this property is perfect for the shopper. With Myers, David Jones, the Emporium at your doorstep and Melbourne Central or QV a short walk away its so convenient. Here you are spoilt with the variety of eating options. Chinatown and street vendors so close. Or take a nearby tram.

They have a 3 day room service rule. We only stayed 3 days. But i wasn’t sure where to take rubbish so it built up because whenever we went to reception it was busy and we never found a floor cleaner.

Great location and comfortable stay

Great location in Chinatown with eateries open till late, walkable to major attractions, tram, and flinders street train station. We also liked the baggage storage, quiet room, and adjustable air conditioning; good for 3 pax.

For car users- would have been helpful if front desk had highlighted to us which is the correct carpark, as there are two identical Wilson parking next to each other. We made the mistake of parking at the wrong one, as a result we paid extra to exit and enter the right one.

Convenient location but somehow outdated

Perfect location, comfortable and the staff are helpful

Unfortunately, the check-in experience at this hotel was disappointing, we have to wait for hours for our room and the staff during our check in is unfriendly.

Clean, basic accomodation. Would stay here again.

Central. Easy walking distance to trams, Flinders station and cafes etc. Room was very clean. Easy check in/out.

Had to as for fresh towels - room was not serviced after first day. Noise travelled easily from other guests in hallway and recycling trucks in the early morning hours.

VERY disappointing.

location. Most staff displayed good customer service.

Small dark dingy room for two adults especially considering top dollar paid for accommodation. Almost no room to accommodate packing/clothes - ie shelves, few hangers or hanging space requiring living for four days out of suitcases. Safe unusable as located at floor level. Breakfast poor quality and basic.

A good holiday, but accomodation sub-standard

I got back ache from the bed. The location was great. The room was big enough, but lacking in charm or style.

The breakfast was below average. I didn't like the Bircher muesli. Apart from that the nearest thing to Muesli was granola. The cooked breakfast was not very good. The air con was noisy. Staff were friendly and efficient. We were able to leave our suitcase at the hotel till 3pm on checkout day.

It was a comfortable place to stay while we were in Melbourne to see the tennis.

The location of the hotel was excellent- close to everything we needed. The breakfast was very good. The staff at the restaurant and reception were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable.

It was pretty good.

Place was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Location is brilliant and access to the Australian Open was very simple involving a very quick tram trip and a short walk.

Not many amenities. Buffet breakfast was a bit overpriced for what was available, but kids under 16 did get to eat free which reduced the cost. No restaurant on premise, but good eating less than 5 minutes walk.

The perfect location for a city shopping stay!

We loved the location and close walking distance to the parking. The room was spacious and perfect for myself and two children. The bed was too stiff for me and I woke with a sore back in the morning.

The comfort of the bed. The king size was amazing but it was too firm for me, I woke with a sore back which wasn't great as we were doing a lot of walking around that day.

The bed in room 638 was as hard as a rock ! The worst I’ve ever experienced at the MECURE . Almost contemplating asking to change rooms.

I absolutely loved my stay, the location is excellent.

The breakfasts were great, staff were fantastic and so friendly.

The beds were so uncomfortable to the point where I had trouble getting to sleep.
