Beautiful location

In house restaurant lets them down

Close to all amenities

No main light

Close walking distance to main area side of town center, beaches, pier and amenities. Lovely views over Bournemouth beach and sea area, as we had top floor room too made this great. A/C in room was needed and helped for relaxation good nights sleep. Main hotel staff seemed very friendly.

For the type of high spec hotel, felt the buffet self service for breakfast was a big let down. No information about any special extras for vegetarians/sausages alike or even informed? *Noticed at peek usual breakfast times the tables and food supplies are very limited for the demanding and areas to sit down for this area considering the size of the hotel and guests. (*Saturday & Sunday's) As a upper quality hotel this needs more improvements in my opinion. I,ve been to smaller sized hotels and they are bigger than this. I can understand the reasoning to this, but felt the professional Marriott branding it should be more class. The staff where rushed off there feets at times trying to keep up! Barn Brasserie is the restaurant that runs this food restaurant & bar area, and think its a franchise within the hotel for this service. Bar and waiter staff for them was also a mixed bag some friendly some not so. The odd smile would be nice and welcoming. Car Parking okay if you can get a space of the limitations of this also, again for the size of the hotel.

Location is good

It’s old and smelly. It’s honestly smelly. The stuff are trying hard but they are not well trained. I guess it’s hopeless under staffed. I would not go back.
