The staff were fantastic, always friendly, always helpful and always smiling. The restaurant food was incredible — easily one of the best dinners I've had this year (but we didn't try breakfast).

The room itself was a little sparse and the hotel is quite a far walk from the old town, which is really the only place you want to be. The room doesn't have a fridge or ironing facilities and the shower flooded on the second day. Plus, our safe didn't work (but I didn't flag this to the hotel, they might have fixed it if I did.) The bathroom felt old and in need of some decorating. The room was nice enough but very minimalist and lacking character. With all this in mind, it felt overpriced — and I got a free room upgrade. Plus, they'll only leave 1 small bottle of water, which isn't enough when the room gets very hot at night and you can only open 1 window a slither. Also, while the staff were very friendly, the hotel offers a free drink if you opt out of having your room cleaned. We only stayed for 2 nights, so decided to claim the drink, but when I tried I was told we could only have soft drinks. The information left in the room though very clearly says you can have an alcoholic drink. While this was resolved, and we were given a glass of wine each, it would have been nicer if I didn't have to go to my room and come back to reception with the leaflet from the room to prove that I was right. Just makes the whole experience a bit awkward.

Vriendelijk personeel. Parkeren kon op het eigen terrein van het hotel. Koffiecups aanwezig op de kamer en wordt aangevuld. Het hotel is niet al te ver van het centrum. Met de auto kon je overal ook goed komen en leuk om een rondje te rijden langs alle bezienswaardigheden.

Het hotel staat in een lelijke buurt, rioolstank uit de badkamer, weinig water uit de douchekop, de airco temperatuur niet in te stellen, geen kierstand mogelijk voor het raam, kleine kamer, geen kleine koelkast aanwezig. Veel armoede en bedelaars in de stad. Weinig gezellige restaurants of bars.
