38 St Giles

Well located, easy instructions, well appointed and the welcome brownie was a nice touch

We stayed in the Boudicca room after our original room didn't meet our needs. I contacted Holly to let her know we were having issues and she immediately moved us. People have given feedback that there are no staff but Holly was always on hand via text and answers quickly - especially when I locked myself out! Just a beautiful hotel where you are left alone - everything supplied is his end from the Molten Brown shower products to the delicious daily brownies.

Parking is limited and quite expensive (not a surprise in the city centre). We have a disabled traveller amongst us so we found it cheaper to park in St Andrews - tip would be to drop your cases at the hotel on route to the car park. Also be mindful that St Augustines Room and Boudicca are up two flights of steep stairs so let them know before booking if you have any walking issues so you get a room suited to your needs

Location, safety, comfort

I’d have liked a chair in the room

Really comfy bed, nice decor.

Used toiletries - bottles were left in the shower tray used, open with hair on. Coffee machine had used pods in and hadn't been cleaned.
