The staff was very helpful and almost everything was fine. The breakfast was great.

One of the nights was a bit loud due to someone in a neighboring room.

A wonderful historic boutique art deco hotel! We had a large, well decorated, and very clean suite with a bathroom bigger than our entire NYC apartment. The rooftop bar is to die for!

The neighborhood is covered with ugly graffiti - don't be put off.

The breakfast/brunch was amazing. There was a lot of variety, the food was fresh, and the attendant made eggs to order. We had a very pleasant experience and were satisfied with good food and energy for all the walking. Our hotel room was very spacious and quiet, we had a lot of privacy and it was comfortable for us in comparison to other hotel rooms on our trip. There is a nice grab and go/kiosk a few doors down- very convenient to grab water.

The cleaning staff moved our things around, which we weren't used to. Our belongings were placed on shelves; we didn't like the feeling of someone moving our things/going through our things. I was annoyed that the cleaning staff threw away the drawstring plastic bag I keep my travel slippers in, which I had left on the floor under the nightstand (not next to a trash can). No big deal, but it wasn't trash.

The rooftop deck was amazing!

It is the friendly staff and the well-built architecture that give off lots of good vibes. This Art Nouveau hotel was built by well-known Chilean architect Luciano Kulczewski - and thus features great attention to detail, many beautiful features and Santiago's oldest lift. The hotel has been carefully modernised and has a great rooftop bar and a rooftop swimming pool. The staff went out of their way to help in an emergency situation and the location in the Lastarria district close to a Metro station was very convenient, breakfast buffet very good.

Location, very helpful staff, comfortable beds

Breakfast was good. Décor generally was good. Interesting use of spaces.

Bar was disappointing. Little atmosphere. We hadn’t appreciated that there was no restaurant, which was our fault, but clearly that was a disappointment. The swimming pool was also disappointing. From the outside, on the street, the hotel was underwhelming.

Very charming historic hotel in a good location

Rooms are of good size. Very pleasant rooftop restaurant and lounge. Excellent location for access to Bellavista and Barrio Italia neighbourhoods. Metro and bus access at the doorstep. Staff very helpful.

Swimming pool is a misnomer. It is very small. Annoying teething problems with room eg TV, hair-dryer not working but staff solved these. Restaurant/bar expenses could not be billed to the room but needed to be paid each time.

Location was great, hotel was lovely. Bed was super comfy and breakfast was great.
