Hotel Cumbres Lastarria

Great location, right in Lastarria. Quiet room, with an inner courtyard view ( not overlooking the main street in Lastarria). A great buzzy area at night, with the restaurant and bar scene, and street acts and markets. Breakfast options were a pleasant surprise. Very reasonably priced, for a 4 star hotel. Must eat at and drink Pisco Sours at Chipe Libre, fabulous staff and food.

Furniture is a little dated, and bathroom grout needs a deep clean, but was not dirty.

We stayed at the hotel for one night to enjoy the atmosphere of the old town. The hotel was in the great location for my objective. It's located at the historic townscape, but hotel itself is quite modern inside and well maintained. We didn't have a chance to had a breakfast since we had to leave the hotel before they start the breakfast service. The hotel staff was very kind to allow my quite early time check-in and also provided suggestions and advices to my questions about the city.

If they can offer any light breakfast preparation for my early departure, that was ideal. Other than that, the experience exceeded my expectation.

Very disappointed, especially after telling the hotel from the beginning that I was a solo female traveler coming for the first time to the city and country. 1. In spite of letting the staff know that I want the hotel to coordinate airport pick up, scheduling tours and all related payments, initially and even later they confirmed to me but then passed on my information to the tour company for me to coordinate myself.

1. Vent above the toilet kept running very loudly from 6:30am till 10:30pm. Reason told was that my room was on 7th floor and the kitchen was on 8th floor and vent was for the kitchen. 2. Shower head was pouring minimal water so when I tried adjusting, it fell on my leg with a cut on my shin. 3. Sink was clogged and it would take a long time for water to drain
