We booked last minute and everything worked out well!

It was not possible to buy coffee in the morning, even though the hotel had coffee for breakfast. You have to pay for the entire breakfast if you want coffee.

The size of the room and the private bathroom is very good for a husband and wife with one child. Parquet floors and big windows with a garden view.

No lift or ramp to transfer luggage from hotel entrance to hotel reception ground floor. No fly screens for hotel room windows.

They changed our hotel at the last minute to go over the DOURO’s location. Everything was kindly booked for us, when we arrived BUT both our windows inside our room were facing brinks walls … it felt like we were trapped inside a bunker. I believe because this hotel was more expensive so they put us in the worst rooms to compensate the price difference… I understand that this room can be rented it’s clean and spacious yes and the standard within the hotel are great but our initial booking was not that and this should have been specified. It was the 2 last nights of our 12 days in Portugal and we were a bit let down as it was a 4 stars hotel.

During check-in, the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The hotel offers a wide range of additional amenities, including complimentary chips, water, and a welcome drink. Really good breakfast

However, it appears that the overall condition of the hotel is somewhat worn and in need of renovation.
