Kingsize bed is two singles linked together, which means there is a lump in the middle of the bed.

Great Location, Breakfast was good although it would help if the Breakfast service started at 7am

The young blonde lady on reception was very friendly and checked us in .The room was a good size the bed linen clean and the bed very comfortable.We also had a lovely mountain view. The older lady who served us at breakfast was also very nice and nothing seemed to be too much trouble . We had the full breakfast and as well as being tasty it was always served lovely and hot and we never waited too long . The staff that we met are an asset to this lodge . The room was a decent size with a lovely mountain view ,the bedding was clean and the bed comfortable to sleep in .

My husband found the stay a little noisy the front doorbell kept going off early in the morning .Im not sure if these were delivery people arriving or staff; but maybes the door could have been kept unlocked .Actually thinking about it there was a doorbell on the reception desk maybe guests were wanting to check out - whatever the reason management could easily rectify this issue. My only small negative was that i’m not a fan of a shower curtain and maybes the bathrooms need an update but it was clean and that’s the most important thing for me . Overall a nice stay and it’s the staff that are the asset here .

Super location, good breakfast everything you would wish for, very friendly and helpful staff. We ate in the restaurant 3 nights and the food was really excellent. Would stay again in the future.

The upkeep of the room could have been improved. Bins were not emptied, milk not replenished some days nor were the biscuits.

The property was beautiful, although in the middle of nowhere you couldn’t fault it. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was amazing and the bed was really comfortable.

I booked to avoid driving in a storm. We came down to eat in the evening to be told they were fully booked. Something we should of been told at check in. It’s literally in the middle of no where so I had to get back in the car with my diabetic child (who has to eat) on a Saturday night in a storm to find some sort of shop. All very stressful. Also at check out I was told in front of a packed room that I hadn’t paid. It was quite embarrassing. I had already paid thru booking.com and tried to explain that but they took my money again. That took quite a few calls that week to get a refund. Also please put some pictures up in the rooms.. has prison overtones if u don’t
