LUCUS Exclusive Bed and Breakfast

Lucus is an absolute gem , rooms are huge and airy with modern furniture tastefully placed in a sympathetically decorated room keeping some old traditional quirks. The icon works well and is quiet, bathroom is modern and spacious. The room also has a kettle , hairdryer and a safe. We had the room next to reception but there was not a sound ! Breakfast is served in the garden courtyard, the most beautiful setting. Great selection of fresh produce and staff will make eggs to order. The garden and loungers are also available to guests, a small bar service available from 3 till 10 although we didn’t use this. The property is in a quiet safe location, a short walk to shops and restaurants of which there are many! Do not hesitate to book your trip here.

Beautiful garden that you could chill out in.

Fabulous little oasis right inside the city walls of Lucca with well appointed quiet rooms and exceptional staff. Beautiful outside terrace and garden for breakfast.

Our whole stay was just perfect.

Staff were approachable, friendly and helpful. Location was good. Serena arranged a private driver to take us to the airport when we checked out and this was easy to arrange, good communication and the driver was also very friendly and made the journey back to the airport easy.

Radiator was broken in the room and was leaking. The towel rail was also broken in the bathroom which made the room overall very cold and towels often didn’t dry thoroughly. Staff were aware but unfortunately this was not fixed during our stay. Our room door handle was also faulty which often meant we had to slam the door shut to close it which isn’t ideal as we were conscious of the noise for other guests.
