Home is comfortable but in bad area on very busy street. Yard was unkept with grass unmowed and 2 ft. high.

The yard needed mowing and the plants and trees were neglected. The house was cozy and well taken care of. Will definitely return.

Lovely updated 1940s house. Loved the white paneled doors and glass door knobs on the front door. Lots of charm throughout and tastefully furnished and decorated. Welcoming touches like fresh cut flowers, chocolates, and coffee. Plenty of room, comfortable King bed, plenty of towels, hot water, kitchen fully equipped and everything very clean. Most importantly, I felt very safe. The home is fully fenced, private patio area. Great for our dogs. Located in a quiet family neighborhood. Kristi & John we’re nice and responsive. Location convenient to everything, ie. Holloman AFB, White Sands, restaurants, Pistachio farms & Wineries. Also, near Lowe’s Market which has everything from groceries to a bar with live entertainment! I highly recommend this property and would stay again.

We loved everything about this southwest house. It was clean, decorated so tastefully and had all the amenities we could want. Location was centrally located to restaurants and grocery stores. We love to hike and it was a great location for that too. Has a fenced in front and back yard which was great for our dog. Hosts were excellent help with any questions we had. We hope to make it back again! Our stay here worked out perfect!

My son in law is stationed at holloman AFB. Location was close to base. House was charming. Very clean and inviting. I will be staying there again on future trips. Plenty of extra towels and blankets. Kitchen is stocked with the basics even some snack stuff. Great selection of games. Even pens and paper in the office. This house was perfect for my 8 day stay.

This home is very centrally located and an ease to get around to activities and restaurants. We enjoyed the full kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a third bedroom which was used as an office with an exercise machine. We were able to park along the side street under a carport and felt safe even leaving articles in our car since we were driving cross country. It doesn’t take long to feel comfortable in a home away from home. Full laundry room which was helpful on our halfway point in our trip. Stay a few days are adventure around Alamogordo, White Sands National Park and fun little towns that are a short drive.

If you like a unique and well cared for home, this is the place. Wonderfully southwestern with tiles and hardwoods. Nice back patio with privacy. It’s centrally located and near restaurants and grocery. Had car trouble while traveling and the host was very accommodating - best support ever!

I was in Alamo for work and this home provided a comfortable and convenient location, It included all necessary conveniences and then some. It was conveniently located near to stores and had a well appointed kitchen. Recommended.

The owners were excellent in their communication and at the ready to do anything to improve the experience. The location is convenient. The neighborhood is mid-level mixed, meaning several well-cared for homes, with some not so much. I always felt comfortable and safe when I walked my dog through the surrounding area. It was perfect for my purposes and if you need to spend time in Alamagordo, this is a great place to do it in.

The cottage was perfect for our brief stay in Alamogordo. It had the space we needed as a family with two young kids to spread out. The wrap-around porch was excellent for relaxing with the kids and dog in the evenings and mornings, but also during nap time. It was a short drive to White Sands and having the sleds available for use was an added bonus! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
