Cavo Zoe Seaside Hotel

The hotel itself is nice and feels well put together - the staff are absolutely lovely. Nice relaxed feel to the place with a few pools to choose from alongside different loungers. We also booked a couples massage which was fantastic, would absolutely recommend doing so. There is a small beach close by which we went to for a few days of our stay, crystal clear water and not too busy. The hotel has a fantastic breakfast selection in addition to the menu available at lunch and the buffet available also for dinner. Room was clean and comfortable although the aircon had a strange smell.

We stayed here for 7 nights, 3 of which hosted weddings. Whilst this is bound to happen, we do feel it impacted our stay. The pool days were often filled by larger groups taking over pools and being loud, so it was very noisy some days when just wanting to switch off and unwind. Once wedding guests started to arrive in the bar area, you will feel the need to make yourself scarce from being looked down upon when sunbathing, so this was always our cue to go back to the room. With the evening receptions, these also could be loud (we had panoramic sea view room) so it was noisy until the weddings would end. If we had prior notice of what days the weddings were on, we could have better organised our plans to go elsewhere on these evenings instead of the nights we wanted to get some good sleep. We also paid for a private dining experience which felt like the price was being validated by the portion sizes of the food, it was nice to have the experience and privacy but the dining itself was nothing amazing, we actually preferred our other evening meals we had had in the buffet area. I wouldn’t recommend the private dining experience.

The cleanest hotel ever. Delicious food, every night different menu, discount for guests, warm welcome at anniversary. Very helpful staff. Many swimming pools. No kids.

The automatic room doors were very loud and woke us every time they closed with a loud bang. Weddings and other celebrations were held at the hotel, with music on outside, so having room on the same side was a little bit difficult to fall asleep. The breakfast was the same every day. I didnt like that sink was in the room rather than in the toilet, and it also disturbed a sleep.

The breakfast was very good, and the staff were very polite and friendly. The pool was clean, quiet, and offered a beautiful view. The room was also clean and comfortable. The staff took special care to make my birthday memorable and surprised me with a lovely gift in the room. I also really enjoyed the gym, as I train regularly. The equipment was very good, and the sea view from the gym was amazing. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and really appreciated the attention to detail and hospitality.

The room was on the 3rd floor and had a very limited sea view, even though it was advertised as having a “Sea Side View.” It was also the closest room to the main road, so there was quite a lot of traffic noise. The air conditioning was difficult to control, as I couldn’t set and maintain a comfortable temperature. I had to constantly turn it on and off. We appreciated the hotel’s thoughtful birthday surprise. However, we had placed the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, but the staff entered the room anyway. This was uncomfortable and particularly stressful for my wife. I believe the “Do Not Disturb” request should always be respected, regardless of the reason for entering the room. Overall, these points affected our experience, although we appreciated the staff’s effort to make the stay special.
