Amazing place to enjoy holidays . Quiet and beautifil village to spend time with family and friends . Walkable distance to train station and property has all facilities for long stay

Property has a well equipped kitchen hence people tend to cook , however strangely no microwave oven to warm your food if you wish to eat it later . You cannot ask them questions unless really 'emergency' except specific office hours

Found Alpine office staff quite dismissive on arrival as we arrived 1 1/2 hours before check in time. Had to leave cases outside office?

The place was nicely designed with good decoration and was new. Very clean.

It was perhaps too small for four people with their luggages. There were cabinets that no one uses but not enough space to put four luggages.

Limited storage space in apartment. Locked cupboards used by owner meant there was very little space to hang jackets and clothes, not much cupboard space to put things either. Both could be improved and why not put up a row of hooks for jackets on the blank wall on the left hand side of the entrance hall? Couldn’t find a corkscrew! We run a holiday accommodation business in the UK - it would have been nice to have a welcome pack on arrival, eg a bottle of wine and some snacks

Beautiful chalet. We had a wonderful holiday there.

The TV and DVD were difficult to operate, but we didn't really want to use them so it didn't matter too much.

The location is prime. Only a 7-10 min walk from the train station and 5-min walk from the pool. You have direct access to hiking trails to Kleine Scheidegg, Männlichen etc. We stayed for 3 weeks in July at the entry-level 2-room apartment. It has a very nice terrace and the apartment is very bright. The kitchen is well-equipped such that we were able to bake our own bread. Having two bathrooms is great. Generally, the neighborhood is quite and green with nice views of the mountains. If you are lucky with the weather, Jungfrau is visible (mostly in the early mornings) when you sit on the terrace. Rachel, at the management company, was very nice and helpful. Since we stayed for 3 weeks, she was so kind to offer us apartment cleaning in the middle of our stay.

The living room and the bedroom have only night curtains. If you spend a few nights in winter, that would be OK. But if you stay 3 weeks like us during summer, then it is a bit annoying because the neighbors in the chalet nearby (Chalet Stella) have full view of your rooms as well as the bathroom, which makes you close the curtains (at least partly) also during the day. In addition, the bedroom and the bathroom partly face the entrance of the chalet, which may be disturbing especially when curious people try to peek inside. In short, day curtains would help. If you are one of those who enjoy darkness in your bedroom and you would prefer to wake up later than the sunrise, then the curtains are not opaque enough and the bedroom becomes quite bright soon. Rachel found a nice (but temporary) solution so we enjoyed being able to sleep a bit longer. Upstairs is a three-bedroom apartment. If you are unlucky, it can be quite noisy, especially when the parents let their kids jump and scream in the apartment and/or the parents are just loud even while using the terrace. For those who cook often, it would be nice if the owners get a new frying pan.
