Great views from the sea front rooms. Great location. Good restaurant. Very friendly helpful staff

Some fittings are a bit tired and the windows were a bit grubby.

Bed was huge and comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and eggs were done to perfection. We found Rosie to be extremely helpful and professional in multi-tasking in different roles. The seating area outside with the windbreak was novel and much appreciated whilst waiting for our room to be made ready.

View from room was of scaffold and unpleasant area that had bins and old plumbing. Toilet was not properly cleaned, brown scale was visible under the rim and flush button kept sticking. Room was not ready for check in time. We had a 45 minute wait. A couple of the walls leading to the Room showed signs of damp issues. The table we were initially seated at for breakfast was cramped and when seated it meant blocking a doorway so we were moved to another table.

My room was OK but the carpet was very dirty. The bathroom was old and not well cleaned. There's no excuse for either.
