Clean, simple and lovely setting

Great location, easy instructions for self check-in and check out, good secure bike storage facility, room was great, clean tidy as was the bathroom. Highly recommended.
Whilst a great location but the lack of any eating establishment in the evening means you are reliant of a take away driving to the lodge. This will not be a issue for the majority in cars or cooking facilities but those back packing and biking the South Downs , could present an issue.
The other major issue was the noise of the beds, every movement was accompanied with a chorus of creaks, squeaks that were so loud it would wake one or all up. New beds please and the scores would have been 10.

Friendly staff and it was good to get a bit of a breakfast before heading off doing more walking! Room was clean and perfectly adequate after a long day, really great to be able to order a take away to be delivered!
I didn't sleep very well, pretty uncomfortable mattress, but that might be just me!
