We Initially booked for 4 nights as part of our Honeymoon, however we stayed for 5 nights due to ferries being cancelled. Petros (owner) met us at the port, it was a very short transfer to the accommodation. He was so welcoming and friendly, whilst showing us around Villa Volta, you could see the passion and attention to detail that he has for Onar. The accommodation was amazing, clean, stylist with stunning views from the private roof terrace. The 5 nights that we stayed we were constantly impressed by the service and accessories provided, nothing was too much trouble. We chose to have Breakfast served on our terrace each morning, although you could choose from other spots on the cliff edge or in your room. We have travelled for 30+ years and we have never experienced such a generous breakfast served to your room including: fresh orange juice, cereals, pastries, breads, muffin to name a few as this changed on a daily basis. Not to mention the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon and another day the most delightful omelette, all freshly prepared and made with genuine passion to please. Due to the Meltemi winds the ferries were not operating, Petros went above and beyond by organising and making alternative arrangements for us to ensure that our onward travels ran smoothly. Also a special thank-you to Andreas and his wife, who gave an incredible service keeping our villa clean and tidy. Overall the BEST experience, we plan to return and would certainly recommend a stay.

To be honest, anything I would write would be an understatement as to how amazing this place is. The room is of course amazing but what made the stay so memorable was Petros and his staff. We had so many nice conversations with them and they always gave us the best tips. When you stay at Onar, they really take care of you and make sure you have everything you need. Also - the breakfast by Ms. Artemis really is so good. There is so much more I could say but in sum, coming to Onar is experiencing this authentic Greek island all while feeling completely relaxed and transported. This will forever be my boyfriend and I's favorite part of Greece and we will be coming back.

Everything The villa is amazing. Lots of space inside and the patio/jacuzzi is super comfy, with beautiful views. The breakfast was extraordinary. We travelled a lot and we have never had such a breakfast before The host (Petros) was very nice and helpful to provide tips about things to do in Folegandros. Location very close to the port, and 5-min drive to Hora. We will come back!

Everything. The suite was amazing, with beautiful 360 degree views, close to the beaches and to chora and to all the restaurants and cafes of the port. The owner, Petros, is the nicest and most hospitable person i have ever met in my life and went above and beyond for us to enjoy our stay. The breakfast was amazing, the only bad thing was that we had to leave. I would book this immediately without second thoughts. So happy with our stay at Onar.

Everything was perfect

Everything about Onar Suites was top notch. The view from our room was very impressive, we could watch the sunrise from our bed. Petros, the owner, was great. He gave us a plan each day for site seeing and made sure we had everything we needed. Villvi was really helpful, he kept everything clean and tidy and would bring breakfast that Mrs. Artemis would prepare every morning. The breakfast was different every morning and each one was excellent. I can’t say enough about the whole experience staying at Onar Suites on Folegandros.

Where to begin. Brand new, yet very much in keeping with the quaintness of Folegandros. Bright, airy, clean and tidy. Our Villa had everything we needed from comfy bed, small kitchenette, tv, fantastic plunge jacuzzi pool, indoor and outdoor shower, outdoor decking with covered seating area and sun loungers. The Island is definitely worth exploring but if you decide to spend all your time here you will not be disappointed. We were brought complimentary drinks and treats throughout the day. The breakfasts are amazing serving up a variety of items, hot and cold, which change from day to day. if you want to visit a beach then you are right next to quiet clear waters, or if you want to gym (on site) or try the local restaurants (1 minute walk). A huge thank you to everyone who made this stay so rememberable.

This was one of the nicest hotels my wife and I have ever stayed in and an incredible value. Petros, the host, was incredibly nice and helpful. The views and access to semi-private beach were almost unbelievable. We usually don't like to travel to the same place twice, but we will definitely be returning to Folegandros and Onar Suites.

Could not have been better in any way.

We had the most amazing time here. The setting is unbelievable. What a privilege to stay in such a beautiful place. The suite was also really tastefully decorated with lots of thoughtful touches. The owner is extremely helpful and organised a car for us. The whole place exudes tranquility and the port area as well as other parts of Folegandros is just how I remember Greece many years ago - chilled and friendly without too many tourists but with lovely tavernas and great food.

Our favorite boutique hotel in Greece. We spent 3 nights here in late August 2021 and it was the highlight of our 4 week visit. Exceptional attention to detail, incredibly helpful owner (Petros) and just a fantastic stay. Highly highly recommend!

The property is an absolute dream! The owner is fantastic, he helped us rent an ATV and had great suggestions about restaurants and how to spend our time. Then, when our ferry was delayed he let us stay in our room way after the usual checkout time. Honestly, this is one of the best properties we've stayed at!

Our stay was beyond our expectations (which were high given the excellent reviews). Petros, the owner, is an exquisite person, who will make you feel like at home. We had the chance to book the Presidential Suite which has extraordinary views, a private jacuzzi, two private terraces and is decorated with taste with traditional elements harmoniously inserted in a modern and pure Greek decor. The breakfast prepared by Mrs Artemis can be taken in your room or at the cliff (which we did) with breathtaking views on the deep blue ocean. Onar means Dream in Ancient Greek; at Onar Suites your dream will come true!

Everything is great about Onar and we would welcome the opportunity to come back soon! Perfect to unwind and relax! Service: Petros and his team are very very welcoming and would do anything to please guests and toured us around Chora when we arrived. Hotel: the rooms are spacious with a really really nice outdoor area. The sunbeds overlooking the cliff is a must to end your day! Location: The views from Onar are spectacular and it is convenient to stay by the port as it is the start of many activities. The bus runs from the Port to Chora every hour, which is fine to get around! Details: Umbrellas, headphones and towels are available to go to the beach. Plus, everyday we found a surprise in the fridge :) All in all, we can only recommend Onar Suites and had an amazing time there! Perhaps, one of the nicest hotels we have ever been and great value for money! Don't miss it out when in Folegandros!
