Home was clean and gorgeous; master bed off kitchen leans on one side but manageable. BEWARE - the house code was texted to me but the inside alarm code was embedded in a separate email so make sure you have both codes when entering! Vacasa confirmed a firepit was on sight a month prior to our stay; there was no firepit but upon inquiry vacasa provided a small refund Overall would stay again but vacasa needs to be a bit more organized with codes and confirmation of amenities

We loved the view of the ocean and the park. Lovely places to walk, everything was so close, the grocery store, Starbucks… It was so quiet in the area was so clean, the park, the streets. Great dog watching

Home needs to be updated. Clean but way too much junk (pots, pans, etc.) in kitchen. Stove needs to be replaced. Very old Gaggenau and only left burners can be used (right is a grill which sets off the fire alarm you say). Front burner pizo lighter not functional so I had to repair it. Need more shampoo and conditioner in bahrooms. Checkout time is 10 AM, cleaners came at 9:30. Not good.

Loved this home for a 3-generation weekend near family that lives in the area. Excellent roof deck with bbq. Views over Marina Park to beach and harbor. Will stay again.

I stayed with a friend and some of our teenage/young adult children and friends while attending a 4 day music festival at the Ventura Count Fairgrounds. We brought bicycles which enabled us to get to and from the venue in about 15 minutes each way. The property was spacious with big windows, great views and an awesome roof deck. All bedding and furniture were nice, clean and comfortable. Garage and driveway could technically park 4 vehicles off street. The only room for improvement worth mentioning is the kitchen. While it was well-lit and clean, we thought it could use a more modern stove and a larger selection of better cookware. So, if you're fussy about that kind of thing, maybe bring your own paella pan or whatnot. I'm sure you will enjoy your stay as much as we did!

We golf and there 2 courses with 5 miles, we like to walk and Starbucks and donuts are within a mile. We love the beach and it it is only a football field away. We enjoy kicking the ball with the grandkids and the park is 20 feet away. We enjoy the proximity to good restaurants but also like to lounge and enjoy the view. The house was clean, the bathrooms are exquisite. There is ample living space. We very much enjoyed this stay and look forward to coming back.

We chose it because of the location - Beach property and between family traveling from SD and SLO. The view from the two full walls of windows in the living room is fantastic: Morning coffee watching early morning activity in the park, sail boats leaving for the ocean, weddings . . . We had breakfast each morning on the top deck and were completely protected from the wind. We took advantage of the park and beach daily for walks and workouts. All of the house, except for the kitchen, feels updated. The only real complaint about the kitchen are the appliances. We cooked every meal, including a Thanksgiving meal. The stove is split between two gas burners on one side and a broken grill on the other with a down-draft fan in between. The oven is pretty old and strangely combined as a microwave. Cooking tools are minimal, but we were able to get a Thanksgiving meal prepared. Just needed to be creative, like serving mashed potatoes with a spaghetti strainer. We laughed and enjoyed the challenge. We were glad to see that the sofa was replaced from last year, (it was "shedding" faux leather pieces), but the replacement made us laugh - outdoor modular seating. I guess it worked fine. The beds were comfortable enough. The sheets were old. My husband guessed they were about 30 count thread. Not so good. Final thoughts: Check in was easy, check out was easy - all done online. House was clean. We changed the pass code for the front door to an easy to remember code. Grocery store is very near by. Lots of activities all around the property - people enjoying themselves at the park/beach, but very quiet inside the home. We will be back for a third year.

The house itself was very well decorated, had a cute hammock area downstairs off one of the bedrooms, an upper deck and a beautiful view from almost any window facing the beach. There is no air conditioning on this property but there are numerous fans now thanks to Matthew and Peyton bringing them to us. We had a problem with the refrigerator, it wouldn't stay cold, that was not resolved before we left. Because of this we did waste some food. I don't think our impacts our stay overly much. We enjoyed the seamless entry as well. Overall a wonderful experience.
