It’s kind of like AirBnB, you stay in a room in someone’s apartment sharing bathroom and kitchen with other guests. There’s a small shop and a bar downstairs which was convenient. It was nice to take a glance of people’s life in UB.
I got a room with an access to the communal balcony, but there was no lock on the connecting door. So practically anyone could get in my room. The shower ran out of hot water pretty quickly so I only had a lukewarm water.

Très belle chambre et petit dejeuner au top !
Nous avons fait un circuit de 2 semaines avec Manat et son fils Isney ce fut magique !
Une famille à l'écoute qui a su nous faire partager sa culture et son amour de la Mongolie.
Je voyage beaucoup et ce road trip restera gravé dans ma mémoire grace à cette famille exceptionnelle et aux rencontres faites durant notre périple.
Merci pour tout !

The room was spacious and clean and the breakfast was quite nice. The apartment itself is huge.
The welcoming/check in process is very strange. They don’t send you any information until you ask even though you need to know the door code and the apartment number to get in. We never met the host, so we didn’t feel especially welcome. The bed was also quite uncomfortable and I thought the bathroom could be cleaner. We wouldn’t stay again.
