St-Georges IV

I stayed at St-Georges IV for two nights with my mother, and we could not have had a better experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt like truly honoured guests. Our host, Veerle, went above and beyond for us throughout our stay. She could not do enough to ensure we were comfortable, well looked after, and had everything we needed. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated throughout, with comfortable, well-appointed rooms that made for a relaxing stay. Having an on-site lift made moving around effortless, and secure parking right on site was a huge convenience. Breakfast each morning was absolutely wonderful—fresh, delicious, and the perfect start to a day of exploring. Veerle and the other guests even sang happy birthday to me on Sunday morning and I was treated to sparking wine. Wonderful. The location is ideal. Tucked away just behind the Cloth Hall, it is wonderfully quiet and peaceful, yet you can walk out the door and be in the main square in less than five minutes. I cannot recommend St-Georges IV highly enough. Thank you, Veerle, for making our trip so memorable!

It was perfect.

Have been to Ypres many times, but never stayed here before. A really excellent hotel. Veerle was the perfect host. We took two rooms and stayed with partners. The Breakfast was very good with a cooked menu also offered. We loved the hotel and the themed type rooms, fabulous bathroom with walk in shower. Parking is also easy and free in the local area. Highly recommended and we will stay again.

Location was excellent. Only 4 rooms, spacious and beautifully decorated. The owner could not have been more hospitable or helpful.
