This was an overnight stop on the Coast to Coast bike ride. The staff are great, property a little tired. Breakfast excellent. Relatively expensive but was a clean warm room bed for the night.

Good sized, clean room with comfortable beds. We slept well and used the bar downstairs (good beer on tap). Food menu also available and short walk to alternative options for dinner.

I stayed here whilst doing the C2C. Its perfectly located for this and the staff were really accommodating and even put my bike in the basement so it was safe.
