Nice location; easy to navigate around Waco

The hotel is beautifully remodeled. Very clean. The morning breakfast has a large variety of different foods. The pool and hot tub area were clean.. we originally stayed on the third floor. There was a little issue with the elevator opening and closing, but they fix that right away and put us in a room on the first floor at no charge for the inconvenience. Thank you for the wonderful stay while we visited family. We will definitely be using La Quinta in the future for all our traveling stays.

The motel was amazing.Loved the room very spacious very clean. Very nice and helpful staff.Nice breakfast host nice and helpful.Outside ground nice and lit up,beautiful landscaping. Will be staying again.Thank you La Quinta.

Clean hotel with comfortable beds. Great proximity to shopping and dining. Staff was very helpful with extra towels, toiletries and maintenance was quick when TV wasn’t working. Staff very friendly. Great breakfast choices. Nice pool and hot tub.

Don't let the term "indoor pool" fool you. Doesn't mean it's warm enough to swim in colder months. Ridiculously cold and useless. It has a heating system - probably still in the box.

Stayed 1 night with family of 4 in 2nd floor. 1st room A/C did not turn on, and toilet was not working. We were moved to a different room. 2nd room had roach in restroom, hairs on floor in RR. Also, A/C unit sounded like it was about to blow up. Wall painting were all missing only clips were on the wall. Both rooms smelled like mildew. The indoor pool is actually not true as it is open to the outdoor climate. So we booked thinking we would swim, but the 30 deg weather was too cold as the wall is open to outside. Morning breakfast at 10a the waffle mix was out, we requested for more and the lady in front desk said that when they run out they don’t put out anymore. When we explained how unhappy our stay was to her she just said sorry you had a bad stay. No customer service at all. Horrible service, and horrible rooms for the amount we paid.

Overall the stay was was great! What we didn't know at the time was the hotel was under renovations. So, it was very messy at times due to the work being done. Our toilet leaked from the bottom and the fridge barely worked. We did not bring this to their attention as we were not in the room a whole lot so it was a minor nuisance.

Probably due to the many construction workers staying but the floors were very dirty with clumps of dirt EVERYWHERE even late at night when we checked in and the crews would have already been in their rooms for hours. All dirt still everywhere the next morning. Breakfast staff were friendly and accommodating. Desk staff sat slouched over in their seats as if it was an inconvenience to deal with you. We thought from the Expedia photos it looked like a newer LaQuinta that we have stayed in before, but this was very run down even though it wasn't that old. Probably won't trust the brand again for a future stay.

Really friendly staff and clean room. The hotel is a little noisy from hwy outside and I was near the elevator. Pillows were all a bit hard but overall a nice place.

This was a gross place. I hope they're just renovating. But also, our room smelled like cigarettes. We had to get one of the front desk to print a note stating we didn't smoke in there so we wouldn't get charged. Bed was super comfy though, that's all I could say positive.

They were nice, but i booked an executive king bed room and paid in advance just to get there and be told it wasnt available and had to get a room with 2 smaller beds and smaller bathroom. The place was under construction, which wasn't told to us when booking on the website so the pool was closed and the halls smelled of plaster. Wasn't treated badly just disappointed that any plans to relax and enjoy our space didnt happen.

The hotel was under renovations which was not updated in their profile so the pool and jacuzzi were closed upon arrival. The television in our room did not work because the outlet it was plugged into didn’t work after having to move it to a different outlet. Bed was very uncomfortable.

Property under renovation. There was no notification prior to arrival. I was given a room on the 3rd floor on the far end of the hall. Although when I registered by phone I requested a room on the 1st floor and convenient to the elevator, the desk clerk said that there was no record of my request. ( I am 82 years old and my maltipoo was with me.)
The room I was given was not fully furnished. So, at my request I was moved to another room on the 2nd floor,. It also was as far from the elevator as it could possibly be! Very inconvenient!
The only thing positive I can say is that the cleaning staff were friendly.

The room is much too dark, and on top of that, 1 of the few lights had a burned out bulb. Staff were exceptionally helpful and were having to work around construction mess. We have stayed here several times and do like the facility. Great breakfast.

They were remodeling walls and the pool/hot tub area, which were closed, and there was paint and drywall mud tracked and spilled on floors, Workers were using the luggage carts to hold and transport their wood. Rooms were updated and painted, but shower fixture was not. It was old and leaked water on the backside of showerhead. Front desk notified. I also had to ask for and replace a bulb in one bedside lamp.
We've stayed at this location many times over the past 6 years and never had any major issues. There also was a female desk clerk that seemed more interested in talking to her "male friend" that was there than me while getting checked in. The breakfast was okay...not as good as usual. The eggs were not the best we've had. They were tough and dry, not fluffy.

The property is being remodeled, which is fine, but rooms should be finished if booking a guest in a room. Our bathroom had an electrical outlet without a plate cover with just masking tape over it. There were no towel rods and the sink didn’t have a stopper, which is not good for a contact lens wearer. There is a smoke detector right above your the bed that flashes a light throughout the night, which disturbed our sleep.Breakfast is not served until 7:00, which is late for people traveling across country. The gentleman working the desk in the morning was very nice and did allow us the get some breakfast which was mostly set up by 5:45. I don’t know why they just don’t start serving at 6:00, if the food is already out. There was also a lot of drywall dust and mud that could have been swept up in the halls and elevator. We were disappointed in our stay

Although we did not travel with our dog this time, we really like to be able to bring him on trips. The La Quinta was under renovation, but that did not affect our stay. The staff is always friendly and breakfast is always good!

This review covers a time when renovations were actively in progress and a holiday as well. So things like the pool and jacuzzi were unavailable, active construction and painting were in progress. Additionally the promised breakfast which normally included eggs and sausage as well as cook your own waffles were not included as it was a Holiday a brown bag "breakfast" was provided, it was slightly better than nothing.
The room was a suite which had 2 TVs however only 1 remote. The room as a whole was in good condition. Overall I would return once the renovation was complete with foreknowledge that Holidays may affect what is offered, without a subsequent adjustment of price.

The room has dirty and sticky floors, if you turn off lights the tv also goes off so you cant be without lights in the room if you wanna watch something. At night it smelled like cigarette smoke coming from the vent and the front desk lady stopped my husband and asked him if he waa a guest or not

It is being remodeled but there were stacks of laundry on the floor by elevator this morning, and carpet in hall VERY dirty. Breakfast was good, as was the room…lady at desk Sunday night very nicel and helped with problems opening my door.

Nice enough property, okay area, but they were remodeling and there was construction mess everywhere. They were ripping up carpet across the hall from us and got my allergies in a major uproar. Came home very sick. Don’t put someone across the hall from a room on mid remodel. Block the rooms until it’s done. Insert eyeroll.
