It must be said that we adore the main bedroom with its rural outlook, four-poster king-size bed, and the en-suite with its freestanding bath and large walk-in rain shower. Situated in the pretty village of Little Barrington, there’s an award-winning country pub, which is set alongside the River Windrush. Enjoy a hearty meal after a countryside walk or bike ride, perhaps. Alternatively, just three miles away, you’ll find the chocolate-box town of Burford, which has an array of independent shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants.
