Luxembourg Marriott Hotel Alfa

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are great. Everything is spotless as it is very new. The location near the station is perfect as Luxembourg is such a great travel hub. Our experience of the restaurant though was disappointing, it was dead both nights and the food wasn't good

This hotel comes highly recommended. Centrally located opposite the tram line, Gare railway station and many buses. Spotlessly clean, very spacious rooms. Very warm and welcoming bar area, where nothing was too much trouble. Very wide range of alcohol, cocktails on offer. Breakfast was buffet style with many choices including hot breakfasts, cold meats, fruit,breads, choice of tea and coffees and if you require eggs done differently eg, poached, fried etc,that wasn’t any trouble. The jewel in this hotels crown though are the staff. From the welcome as you check in to every member of staff in whatever department they worked in, their pride in the work that they do is highly evident. Nothing is too much trouble and they are all so very knowledgeable in their given fields. They made our stay one of the best we have ever had and we hope to return one day. Like I said earlier, would highly recommend this hotel. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I certainly would.

Sophisticated stay in great location

Breakfast at the property was good but in case you have an early train and need breakfast to go, get it packed in front of you. They were adamant that they do it well. Don’t leave the choice to them. Inspite of specifying they packed up stuff which we could not eat. No cutlery, no napkins, no juices or water, no breads, yogurt or any sauce or dip was packed.
