noisy rooms - can hear people walking above you and people across the corridor having you-know-what. My door was also left unlocked AND OPEN by the housekeepers and when I raised it with the reception there was an apology but nothing more.

What a wonderful discovery this hotel turned out to be. Tucked just a few minutes' walk from İstiklal Avenue and roughly ten minutes from Taksim Metro, it sits amid an abundance of restaurants and shopping. I'd originally booked four nights, but ended up staying 10 in total beause I simply loved it here. Every corner of the property reflects thoughtful, designer-quality style, from the elegant lounges to the outdoor spaces and breakfast area, each impeccably maintained. The staff were unfailingly warm and professional, anticipating every need and always on hand to help. My room was generously sized, quite large for the area, with a sitting area and plenty of room to unpack, the highlight being a stunning view over the Bosphorus. There was also a wonderfully comfortable bed, excellent AC, and a hot spacious shower to match. This stay left a lasting impression, and I plan to return the next time I visit Istanbul. Internet could be improved- it was functional for working, but dropped out intermittently.

Excellent location just a few minutes' walk from Istiklal Street, yet far enough away from the noise and crowds to enjoy a peaceful stay. It's tucked beside some charming side streets with fantastic little restaurants. The hotel has a wonderfully quirky character—it looks quite small from the outside, but once inside cosy and full of charm. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the front desk team were welcoming and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was very good, and both the chef and Elizabeth, who looked after us, were absolutely lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Unfortunately, my experience with the hotel manager was very disappointing. I have been a loyal guest of this hotel for more than ten years and I travel frequently around the world, staying in many hotels. However, this was the first time I experienced such an unfriendly and unprofessional attitude from a hotel manager. Instead of trying to resolve the issue or maintain a good relationship with a long-time guest, he told me that if I was not satisfied, I could simply move to another hotel and leave. This was very surprising and disappointing.
