Palma Guest House

Location was good. The owner was helpful and let us leave our luggage at the apartment before check in time

Our room did not look like the ones in the pictures. We had sofa bed instead of normal bed. We asked for extra blanket but never got one.

It was close to the airport, clean and the staff was very helpful

It had a very nice breakfast

The host was super nice, friendly and easy to communicate. Everything, check-in and checkout via WhatsApp. Clear directions and even some advice on places to eat nearby. Location was also important, comfortable, since I had some business to do in the area.

No toiletries except a little piece of soap on the sink to wash your hands. And in all those photos of the rooms you see beautiful display of nonexistent, though basic products for shower - in reality the pump shower gel bottle in the shower is absolutely empty. The bed was not a bed but a foldout sofa. For 100 euros a night you expect at least some basics. Thick drip marks on the wall from a leaking AC, maybe it leaked before but I was not sure if we should use the AC or not. And a hanger right under AC, so your clothes might be damaged if you hang it there. And I chose this place also because of it artistic decorations. Dali, Van Gogh… Well you can see them in the photos. And artistic books. None of it was in our room. I know, it’s silly, but I really wanted to make my husband smile since he is an artist… Well, one thing to make good looking photos with bottles of wine etc to make your place look welcoming and nice. Another - to keep it as close to reality as you promote it.
