Stockton Suites

Really easy check in and excellent communication with regards to information. Rooms were really cosy and very clean. We had an excellent nights sleep, The bed was really comfortable. Would definitely book again when visiting family in Stockton. Thanks for a great stay.

Everything was great the only thing extra would be a mirror somewhere in the room which would be handy getting ready.

Basic but comfortable

The room was comfortable, and serene. make me feel like home away from home

The address number not on property so it was difficult to locate until i was sent a picture describing the place and the heating wasnt circulating well across the room

Value for money, clean enough for the price, rooms look newly decorated, has a kettle sink etc so overall no real complaints. You get what you pay for and for what I paid, worth it, however read the problematic bits. This place is a weird one to review as it’s good value for money, it’s clean and you can see it’s maintained, but if you get a couple of noisy neighbours, you are in for a bad night.

Problematic bits, I travel a lot and use cheap hotels/rooms etc. I expect three things only. A bed, hot water for a shower and the ability to sleep. I got one of those. A Bed, clean sheets crap mattress but again I got more than enough for what i paid with the room. No hot water, the electric shower is on maximum setting, no hot water, and yes the cord was pulled and red light turned on, it’s either broke or wired up wrong, two days of cold showers, I can grit my teeth and roll with it. The bathroom is not in the room, you have to go out into the corridor, again not bothered by this, but it should be clearly stated on the booking, not just private bathroom, I could see why some people would not like this. Bathroom again clean no issues. The big one, can I get some sleep, the fridge in the room just unplug it, loud is an understatement. Laying in bed the adjoining room, I did not have a noisy neighbour, the room just echos badly, every time he leaves the room the door bangs and rattles the bed, you can hear every word spoken, the extractor fan in their bathroom sounds like a jet engine in your room. The toilet, you can hear every second of someone using that toilet, not sure if it’s on the adjoining paper thin walls, but it sounds like it is, this is not a fun thing to hear while laying in bed, bring double ear plugs, and finally the green light over the door and the crack in the door giving you the hallway light. The room is lit up like a roman candle. Some of these points have been mentioned in other reviews, so could be rectified., this place has a lot of potential, hopefully with a few tweaks I may book again and not across the road on Westbourne street.
