Absolutely great staff in all departments
Sure could’ve used a few plug-ins near the bed and in the main room, they were all being used and no free ones were accessible. Had to plug everything in the bathroom plug it was very easy to use, but not very convenient.

The hotel is in the YVR airport but not inside the terminal, if you're connecting flights you must clear customs and immigration to access the hotel, then go again to getbto your gate for your connecting flight. The hotel rooms were very comfortable, the hotel has a gym with a pool and spa, and a restaurant and bar. We asked if they could give us an early checking at 12pm (std checkin is 3pm) and they did it!!!! Their staff is great!!!
It was extremely expensive to stay at this hotel. When you're paying that much you expect free wifi (hotel offers free wifi to Fairmont members only), the TV only offered live TV stations and movies on demand (at $25ea movie) .. no smart TV in a hotel that costs too much money ... that is an abuse in my view! Knowing they are NOT inside the connecting terminal, next time we'll book another hotel just a few km outside the airport with a free shuttle !!!! They are less than a third of their price.

Great position at the airport for ease of next day flying out early. Staff were friendly, efficient and accomodating as it was all last minute. The restaurant / bar was enjoyable with live music playing in the background. The room was spacious and bed very comfortable.
