La posizione perfetta non troppo vicino al caos di Times Square ma nemmeno troppo lontana. Colazione molto buona (solo una scelta tra una bevanda e una cosa da mangiare, non a buffet). La pulizia buona. La cortesia del personale.

La camera piccola: in quattro non entravano nemmeno le valigie e nell'armadio entravano giusto le giacche. Bagno piccolo.

Habitacions massa petites per una família de 4 persones. Esmorzar molt escàs.

-Wir sind 2 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder mit 16,14 und 12 Jahren und hatten ca. 4 Monate im Voraus 2 Zimmer gebucht (1 mit einem Doppelbett und 1 mit 2 Doppelbetten) und 2 Zimmer genau nebeneinander bekommen, was schon mal sehr angenehm war -ein toller Service der Triumph Hotels mit dem Angebot der kostenlosen Neighbourhood walking Tours, wir haben an zwei Touren teilgenommen und haben dabei viele interessante Dinge gesehen und erfahren - sehr bequeme Betten/ Matratzen, sehr hochwertige Bettwäsche und Handtücher -Schöne Atmosphäre des Hauses , das Design der Zimmer war auch ansprechend, -super angenehmer „Geruch“ in der Lobby; man kommt nach einem langen Tag Sightseeing ins Hotel zurück und fühlt sich gleich wie zuhause -es gab zwar nur eine sehr beschränkte Frühstücksauswahl, aber die 5 Optionen zu essen waren wirklich sehr lecker! Auch der Kaffee war sehr lecker (und dieses kleine Frühstück erspart einem schon mal min. 10-15 Dollar pro Person pro Tag, das macht bei einer fünfköpfigen Familie wie bei unserer schon gleich mal einiges aus)

-die Zimmer waren eher dunkel, kein Kosmetikspiegel vorhanden , das Bad war sehr eng - nur 2 Fahrstühle (da konnte es in Stoßzeiten schon mal zu ein paar Minuten Wartezeiten kommen, aber runter nahm man dann halt die Treppe)

Clean, great location, lovely staff, greater atmosphere. I love art déco so it was so nice to just be there. Their bar and bakery is also lovely. They also were able to hold my luggage after checkout.

Great location right next to Madison park. Main attractions were just a quick walk away, such as Empire state building, times square, the Morgan Library. Very cute and chic interiors, simple breakfast options, but filling! Staff was very accommodating as i requested a room change (wanted street facing) and they were kind enough to manage the shifting process while i went out at leisure. Great value for money in the heart of NYC! Hop on hop off stops are minutes away from the hotel :)

Nothing to dislike!

The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great, with both hot egg sandwiches and yogurt or pastry choices. A real bonus. We also enjoyed coming back at night and having a drink at the bar. It has a great vibe, and excellent cocktails. The host there was great. The staff was excellent, very friendly. The location was great.

Booked room incl breakfast. We were two adults and two children. Vouchers were issued for two persons only. That is ridiculous..!

Location was excellent, just off 5th avenue. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Gym was small but fine.

Breakfast was a bit dissapointing. Vouchers were given out for one drink and one food item. It was okay, but first time ive seen rationing on breakfast in any hotel worldwide. Also, no coffee facilities in rooms.

Les chambres sont petites. L’attitude du personnel est inégale… certains sont gentils, souriants et compétant. Mais d’autres semblent ne pas vouloir travailler et n’ont aucune réponse à nos questions.

Everyone was so freakin’ sweet and accommodating — shouts out to the whole Evelyn crew for making my birthday so special. The lil’ breakfast in the morning was so cute too!!

The walls were a bit thin and there was some hardcore construction goin’ on outside our window in the afternoon….so it was a lil’ noisy at times haha. But didn’t detract from the overall experience!

Great location great stuff perfect room. The breakfast options are delicious. This is one of my favorite hotels to stay in in the city.

The lobby was very nice and the location is brilliant. The staff on the whole were nice.

We were travelling as a family and booked a double double so two double beds in one room. We have stayed in these types of rooms in many different places over the years but this was the smallest family room we have ever stayed in. The shower room didn’t even have a warm towel rail or anywhere to hang towels so they were left folded on the floor for us. You could only just fit one person in there never mind 4 sharing! On top of that, the restaurant and bar were closed for refurb and we were not notified before our stay. We were told breakfast would be included but actually it was a “grab and go” breakfast which amounted to just 2 of the 4 of us having a voucher per days for a choice one item off the list and a drink. On the first day we tried to use it they were out of all options except a croissant. It was poor! When we raised it the staff just looked confused and were not very helpful. For the money this hotel was one of the worst we have stayed in. The location was great. The bed was comfortable. It may be fine for couples, if the bar and restaurant were open. But for families. I do not recommend.

wir waren zum 6 mal im Evelyn leider war es auch der schlechteste Aufenthalt. das Evelyn bietet leider nicht mehr den Standard wie vorher. - das Personal ist bis auf die 3 welche schon lange dort arbeiten unfreundlich - die Fenster in den Zimmern sind defekt und undicht -die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig - das Frühstück verdient diese Bezeichnung nicht es werden Coupons abgegeben dafür erhalten sie 1 Getränk und 1 Brötchen mehr nicht - wir haben das Gespräch mit dem verantwortlichen gesucht schriftlich und mündlich keinerlei Antwort -wir wollten danach das Hotel verlassen wiederum keine Antwort Schade wie das Evelyn sich entwickelt hat wir waren immer gerne da

I absolutely love the location. It is convenient to everything that I need to access and I love the decor.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at the Evelyn and each time I seem to get a room that requires something to be fixed in the bathroom. Not a dealbreaker but this time it was a leaky hot water knob which would soak anything (makeup bag) left on the sink.

Bel hôtel, très bien situé, à deux pas de l'Empire State Building. Accueil très efficace. Chambre correcte avec un rapport qualité-prix très intéressant, plutôt rare pour NYC. C'est une bonne adresse pour un séjour new yorkais de 4-5 nuits.

Une politique de petit déjeuner assez bizarre...nous avons reçu 2 "bons/vouchers" pour les petits-déjeuners par jours alors que nous étions 4 en chambre, et puis, nous n'avions que 2 linges de bains pour 4 (2 linges supplémentaires nous été mis à disposition sur demande). Je pense que l'hôtel nous a loué une chambre destinée à 2 personnes, mais pour 4. Cela étant dit, c'était à notre avantage au niveau prix, donc un mal pour un bien.

The location was excellent. I really liked the art deco decor. The rooms were small but very clean. The doormen were very friendly and helpful. The walking tour with Sonya of Streetwise was excellent!

There could be more light in the elevator. Also, it would have been nice to have a few more healthy breakfast choices given the price of the hotel room. As well, the choice of TV stations was very limited compared to other hotels we stayed in on our trip.

The location is absolutely second to none just off 5th avenue and the decor of the hotel is lovely modern take on deco.

Doors on rooms need door closers. People banging their doors shut coming home or leaving wakes you up. There needs to be more sound proofing too. No storage for underwear or folded items and wardrobe is very small. Should do away with the desk or have one that has drawers to use. Staff in the breakfast place are thoroughly miserable. Reception team are friendly as are bar staff.
