Hotel, Grounds, Ambiance and Restaurant Superb! However your Satellite\cable provider needs a rethink. We noticed and abundance of U.S Stations however could not find Canadian English TV News outlets such as CBC, CTV, Global etc.. Either they were not available or difficult to access. Given the U.S. attacks on Sovereignty and Language rights we were surprised by this oversight. We also noted that closed captioning for the hearing impaired was either unavailable or difficult to access. Otherwise thanks for a warm welcome and wonderful stay. The room/suite was clean, spacious, well-laid-out, perfect for two persons. Room service was thorough, consistent, espresso maker a plus! Lake was beautiful, great bass and trout fishing. Loved the outdoor pool and hot tub, perfect temperature for cool evenings in September. The gym is truly state of the art, a big plus. Loved the natural feel of the decor, simple, understated, refreshing.

In the suite, there were no hooks for hanging clothes/towels, only 1 in the bathroom. More luggage carts are needed in the lobby, they were frequently unavailable. Location is a bit far from Quebec to make it convenient to eat in town. So we ate in the resort restaurant each night. Dinner was delicious, but zero menu variation; breakfast was average. We did find, on the last day, a delightful breakfast/lunch boulangerie 5 minutes away - no one at the hotel told us about this place, although we asked.

Fantastic value for money, with an enormous and comfortable room. Parking wasn’t plentiful and the bar offered a range of lovely drinks in the evening, with some great wine options. Breakfast was also exceptional and catered well for gluten intolerances.

Distance from Quebec City was approximately 30 minute drive, but we knew this before arrival. The toilet flush broke in our room and couldn’t be repaired that evening. I had to manually flush the toilet by putting my hand into the cistern. The only other option was to move rooms that evening, which would mean we’d have needed to move rooms the following night too due to the hotel being full. We didn’t want to move this many times, and the toilet was repaired the next day.

The food was great and always so fresh, i really loved the location and the lake was so calming and nice

We stayed for two nights, after the first night when we came back to the room it was not cleaned and when we questioned it we were told they only clean rooms after tje second night of stay. We had to sit with my kids dirty pampers in the bathroom for two nights beacuse apparently they cannot even remove the bathroom trash. Our room phone was not working upon checking in and when they replaced it with a new phone it still was not working so we had to go down to the front desk when we needed something. My daughter got hurt and i called the main hotel number from my cell asking for first aid kit , they told us we need to go to the front desk to pick it up
