This hotel was a major disappointment, definitely not up to Marriott standards! Other than the friendliness of the front desk staff, everything else was sub-par. The room had dust on the carpet like it hadn't been vacuumed; the sink in the bathroom didn't supply hot water and had a dripping leak; the shower also went off when you turned the knob to hot; and the thing that irritated us the most was when we checked in, the clerk mentioned that there was a PAID breakfast, so I said, "We'll just go out and do fast food then", to which she replied, "Let me give you a complimentary breakfast"...we were very happy about that UNTIL we went down the next morning and discovered there was a limit of $20 for the 2 of us and coffee was like $6.50 each, and a fruit cup was $7 each, so we couldn't even get a coffee and a fruit cup without going over the limit! We went to McDonalds and had a nice breakfast for about $13!! Definitely will not be going back!

Clean, comfortable bed.

The desk clerk at check in was unfriendly, and breakfast the next morning closed 20 minutes early.

I was very disappointed we stayed in Amarillo and they charged $10 for parking. That's ridiculous. This place is not new York so why charge for parking.

I can't believe they charge for parking. The wall paper was coming off all the walls. Half of the wall paper was missing. The bath tub was all rusty. I thought this was a nice hotel. My mistake. I paid to much for a run down hotel

Breakfast was not available, the cook did not show up. Front desk was kind enough to offer coffee from Starbucks. Host suggested a nice steakhouse a few blocks down. Very friendly place.

The location was okay

The rooms were not in good shape. Lights in the bathroom did not work. Wallpaper peeling off walls.

Very nice hotel. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable. I was worried about noise due to the proximity to the highway. Request a room on the other side.

All was fine. We changed rooms as they had put us on a street side room, which was a bit noisy.

It was an okay stay

It is an older property. Room smelled of swap and it is so close to the freeway that the cars kept us up. Being a Marriott Hotel we were pretty disappointed with it for the price we paid.

No breakfast. They ran out of soap so gave us several bottles of shampoo. The TV didn’t work at all.

Couch six inches from bed with hard edge. Lobby smelled disturbingly like poop. Halls were visibly dirty and scraped. Bath/shower was grimey and discolored. Bed was uncomfortable and lumpy. TV did not work (would not turn off until I unplugged it).

Booking.com didn't mention the extra charge for parking and breakfast. That's important information to know upfront. The room was smelly and dirty. Old underwear left on the floor. Couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Receptionist was very hateful, broken lamps didn’t get our room. Do not accept cash, half the doors for the building were out of order and unable to use. We could have stayed somewhere a lot nicer for the price. And to top it off it was for my wife’s 30th birthday. Overall horrible experience

It was clean and convenient to where we wanted to visit. The hot tub was passable but the pool was very very cold. The staff was friendly. Check in was easy. Bed was firm so if you like that your are in good shape.

Due to "staffing issues" there was no food or beverages. That was one of the major reasons I picked this place, it advertised food and beverages. We had to walk to another place to have food and drinks. Also they charged 10 dollars for parking and I never saw that information when booking.

the property is in a great location. the rooms were spacey. staff was very friendly and accommodating.

the sofa bed “mattress” was very very thin, you were actually sleeping on just the metal. There is no continental breakfast, for the price there should be. the Starbucks inside the hotel was out of everything, was not able to get coffee. you have to pay $10 for parking which was inconvenient, again because of the price already.
