The Buena Park Hotel & Suites

I liked that it’s very affordable and in a good location close to Knotts Berry Farms and LAX.

The rooms are very musty and smells like mildew. The towels were dirty upon arrival and even though we paid an additional $57 per room to do an early check in, they were still cleaning it when we got there and had to wait. The breakfast also changed and there’s no longer any bagels or anything else besides packets of instant oatmeal and waffles.

room - surprisingly bigger than I expected. The bathroom is also spacious and beautifully designed breakfast - I was not aware of the breakfast until a friend asked if there is still available room, in booking.com I read the free breakfast. So that was not covered for me upon check in. At check in, only 1 staff and it took her a long time to complete the person ahead of me. Unfortunately, we missed the free breakfast because we did not know it ended at 9 am. We only stayed 1 night. Location was close to the venue we were there for

Long wait to check in Did not discuss free breakfast - maybe we did not meet criteria for it? Shampoo, conditioner, lotion are too small. Maybe put up larger bottles on the shower wall Coffee in the room were all "decaf". The coffee maker's cord does not reach the outlet - I had to drink decaf and moved the coffee maker on the nightstand.

The bottom of the door to the room was coming off, breakfast hours were too short, was no Kleenex in the bathroom, the refrigerator was set too high and froze our food.
