We had a quiet spacious Premium King room, which had a huge comfortable bed and views towards the river. The large bathroom was great and had plenty of free toiletries. The hotel location was convenient with many restaurants nearby. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. At check-in, Chanel, kindly gave us some lovely sparkling wine to take to our room as it was my birthday celebration. Thank you so much.

A minor thing…only one side of the bed had a USB point and power point.

The staff was so welcoming ! Especially Luis O at the front desk . He made our anniversary celebration so special ! The card signed by the whole team was so thoughtful and really precious! Everything was perfect ! The location and beautiful facilities!

Breakfast should have been free

I liked the cleanness and comfort of the facility. The staff at the front desk was kind and helpful.

The room was too small for a family of 5. The bathroom door did not have a lock, which is stupid. The valet parking fee for the day was 75$ and there is no any other parking available. Not many convenience stores and restaurants in the walking distance. Also, it looks like they have issues with noise insulation, since I got a knock on the door sometime around 11:30 pm. The hotel employee was asking me to be quieter, since my neighbor had trouble falling asleep, which is ridiculous. Never seen such thing in any hotel before. Why do you accept families with kids then if you have such noise-sensitive customers? Felt like senior living facility at that moment. 🙂

Very beautiful hotel. The lobby is spacious and very nice with fireplaces and the restaurant/bar there. The pool is also very beautiful and was big enough. The rooms were nice, however I think they could be bigger for the price point.

I think that the rooms should be bigger for the price point. But mostly, I was very disappointed about the TV in the room - the lack of viewing options and the price for movie rental is absolutely unacceptable. In 2024 at a luxury hotel downtown Chicago, the TVs should be smart and have streaming apps available. At the very least, the movie rentals should NOT cost $20 per movie. That is the cost of purchasing a movie, or more depending on the movie. A rental, even on an old fashioned Redbox is a few dollars at most. I have never been to any hotel or Airbnb that charged that much for a movie. We were having a family staycation for my son’s birthday and the kids rented 2 movies, at first without my knowledge, as it is a click of a button to charge $20 to the room. If you are advertising as a family friendly hotel, it should not be that easy. And there should be more budget friendly options for watching a movie in the such an expensive room.

All I have to say is “Simply Amazing”. This has to be one of the most beautiful and cleanliest hotels in Chicago.

Property was very well kept and very nice!

Exceptional corner room with glass walls was incredible. Views of the river and downtown were epic. You can't get any better views than this. The room itself was sleek, modern and very much what you'd expect from a Lowes property.

I thought the pricing for the breakfast was a bit overblown. The food was good but seemed 15% more expensive than other similar options in the area.

I’ve stayed here several times and the staff are extremely friendly and professional, it’s immaculately clean, the beds are comfortable and sheets are cool and high thread count, the food and drinks are high quality, and the city and water views are equally gorgeous.

I love everything about this hotel!
