The location, the pool, the owner Carole...and Cashew the Spanish Water Dog! And secure on site parking...you can see Les Palmiers from the ramparts of the city as you walk around the chateau...and the breakfasts were good with great coffee. Excellent choice for last minute booking and communication with Carole very good and some fabulous restaurant recommendations from her helped make our short stay a great success.

Fabulous breakfast, proximity to medieval and old cities. Made all the better by the wonderful hosts and the resident dog. The pool and air conditioned rooms were a great way to relax and cool down.

Seeing the overnight campers in the adjoining car park doing their morning ablutions in the bushes.

We really liked our stay in this B&B. The place is situated perfectly between the old city (5-10 minutes walk) and the ‘new’ city (15 minutes walk). The B&B is situated in a quiet place, so no noise when you’re relaxing by the refreshing pool after a day in the old city. The breakfast is really good, Carole makes the best srambled eggs and she really did her best to provide a great breakfast for us (taking allergies into account). We will definitely come back when we want to visit Carcassonne again.

the pool was bigger than on the photo's, garden, service, friendliness, feeling at home, superb location!, comfortable rooms, airconditioning!, awesome stay! I would definitely recommend!!!

Exceptional stay! The photos don't do this place justice. The hotel was much nice than we expected. The swimming pool area was lovely and very relaxing. Our puppy was allowed to run around the garden and play with the owner's dog. Carcassonne citadel is only few minutes walk away. Thank you for a lovely stay. We want to come back one day.

The personal transport service to & from the airport was excellent. Property is ideally situated for both parts of Carcassonne, a 10-15 minutes walk to each, in lovely surroundings. Breakfast is plentiful with an added bonus of freshly cooked eggs of your choice & excellent coffee. Room was very clean & traditionally furnished, bathroom large & modern. The air conditioning was most welcome given the temperatures as was the swimming pool. Carole was a charming host, very helpful & informative.

Pool towels could have been slightly bigger & thicker. Very few English speaking digital TV channels.
