Amazing service, very warm and friendly. The staff is what makes this hotel so special.
The breakfast is a dream and should not be missed.
The kitchen was in a hurry as we arrived late. As a result our meal was not prepared as we ordered it, but the waiter was quick in finding a good solution and apologised for it.
Some of the furniture and the rooms might need a refresh. We had a room at the corner of the hotel so the plumbing took a while to „heat up“ for the morning shower

Minor point but you do need car/taxi to central Inverness as walk is too long.

Shower was non existent. Hand held shower mounted to the wall with no pressure. No fridge or microwave in room. No USB ports. Bread selection at breakfast very limited. Room very dated. Taps don't close properly.

Late notice of no dining facilities, booked this hotel in March so disappointed to be advised within a week of our arrival. Locked out of hotel at 7:00 am when we had been asked and informed we would like breakfast at 7:00 am, chef was locked out of dining room aswell as ourselves, member of staff did open after searching for dining room keys. Recommended to eat at a another place for a carvery, but none available. When returning to hotel no staff in bar or reception, no other guests in the hotel and no atmosphere. Hotel and grounds in need of improvement, an impression of being run down and left in poor order and no organisation. Very disappointed especially in view of price and 4 star rating which was not representative.

The breakfast was very good and there are lots of different options to choose from. Also the building itself is very beautiful. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the location is good for trips in the surrounding area but with a poor connection to public transport. Here the staff was again very helpful and offered us to call a taxi.
The room was okay, unfortunately the bed was not really comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was very low so that it was quite hard to wash ones hair.

Location was great! It was very quiet and a beautiful setting. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were well equiped for what we needed
The bed wasn't very comfortable and we only were able to get about 30 seconds of hot water. These were minor though.

Room was large, breakfast was good, staff were friendly and helpful.
1st room we had could not get consistent hot water. Manager promptly switched us to another larger room. Alll good after that.

Beautiful place. Lovely surroundings and garden. Ample parking. Beds comfy. Staff very welcoming.

The reception was great, friendly professional and very helpful. They made accommodation for our requests. Food was good. A really lovely place to stay. we highly recommend it, and would love to stay again.

The place is soooooo beautiful! The room is very comfortable and clean. The staff was very lovely, they were extremely helpful and nice to us all the time. We hadn't booked breakfast but we could get a table and have the delicious menu they offered! Also no problem with parking. Everything was great, definitely would come back!
Maybe the shower could be a bit better... but it was something very small compared to all the rest being great!

Dinner choice limited but food was excellent.
Breakfast was superb.
Bedroom is starting to get 'tired' but that was more than made up for by being spotlessly clean.

good service with welcoming and helpful staff. easy 20 min walk into town. overall we had a a pleasant stay.
Hotel is a little tired and requires a bit of an upgrade . Felt a bit overpriced for the standard of accommodation
