Palazzo Guicciardini

The room is beautiful, filled with beautiful paintings and is perfect for Florence. The location is perfect and is where all the best restaurants are! You are also away from the busy bustling centre of Florence but is perfect to cross the bridge into the touristy zones whenever you need to. Staff were amazing and super helpful.

Nothing, everything was truly perfect and we are only upset we couldnt stay longer.

Perfect location in Oltrarno, walk everywhere. Crazy murals on walls and ceiling, but that was part of its charm. Really helpful, courteous and kind staff, called us a cab and gave late checkout. The aircon was good but it sometimes felt stuffy, the 'manufactured air' phenomenon. Noisy in the street below on the weekends at night, didn't hear a thing with windows shut and aircon on tho.

Mattress is too light

The building has a lot of character and the staff were very nice. They called us a cab for the morning of check-out and had an out of hours number if you needed anything from reception. They ceilings had beautiful paintings on them.

The property was not as advertised. It was suggested that it was two rooms but in fact was one room in the suite. There was no soundproofing so you could hear everything in the building including outside and between the bedroom and the bathroom. There were communal facilities but no ability to get ice unfortunately. There was only one accessible and working plug around the room. Upon arrival, I was told the room did not have a fridge despite being advertised as having one. In actual fact, it did have a fridge, it just wasn’t very cold. When we requested toilet paper, we were told they would provide it in the room but we never got it.
