The hotel is beautiful and the location is strategic as well. My room was beautiful. The only thing that I can point out is the rooms don't have good sound insulation, if someone is pretty sensitive to the sound, this could be annoying.

stylish hotel, comfortable and very nice employees. it was my birthday and they even brought me a surprise cake to my room. highly recommended. the location is very central, but you it isn’t noisy, as many other places in Cartagena. just book it.

I loved Sophia Hotel! Very confortable and spacious room. Great location, in the heart of Cartagena, with a lot of excellent restaurants and cafes nearby. Breakfast was also really good, with a buffet and a menu included to order different kinds of eggs and other dishes. Staff was realy kind and helpfull. I recomend the hotel and would stay there again, for sure!

In general, my room was silent, but it was just bellow the swimming pool area and, in the afternoon, people dragged wood and iron chairs and tables upstairs making noise. It would be nice, if the hotel put some protection in the botton of them (felt, rubber etc), so this wouldn't happen.
